My PC finally coma-tose.

And i can't get my London and Christmas' pictures up. *sian*

Now it's a tie between getting a lappy or a LCD-screen desk-top for gaming pleasure...

Hmmmm....

***************

Dubai-Moscow later.

10 days >.<" Thankfully, there's someone i already know on this flight. Looking forward to it. =)

Moscow- An once in a life time experience will be more than i can ask for. My brother was asking me to get him anything that spells "Moscow" on it *LOL*.......

Year 2006 is coming to a close.

Although there has been much complaints and grievances you've heard, honestly i am still thankful for everything, for where i am. Still glad with how the course of my life has went.

Somewhere inside, i still tell myself, "This may be one of the best thing that ever happened to me."

=)

**************

May 2007 be another great year for you and for me.

Happy New Year in advance!!!

And see you next year ^.^

London dec 06

Finally.

Shan't say much and let the pictures do the talking.

First time on a London black cabby. To the duck rice joint.

The window display @ Selfridges

How i wish Unicorns are real.

Christmas decor and lightings @ Regent Street, Oxford Circus.

Totally heighten our mood for Christmas. Did some light X'mas shopping cos pound is waaaaaay too ex.

Stonehenge the following day.

The Bath town. As you can guess, Roman Bath is our next destination.

Absolutely love this pic. And it taken by Riz's N73 somemore.

An eye for N73 now =9

And the day before, I went on a Accessories shopping 'spree'.
Miss Selfridge, ALDO and TopShop.

They are like innocently 8 pound or 10 pound, but after adding up and converting, they amount up to almost 80 SG dollar!!!! >.<"""""

My M&S breakfast... Yum Yum...

In a few more hours i'll be jetting off to London.

Although i know i'll be in good company, esp that of my bestie-teamie Cindy, but i'm still gonna miss home.

Yun's off to Shanghai in a few days.
Yen's back for a few days, only.
Mum went back to Malaysia for a few days and i'm missing her already.
The TJ-cians are meeting soon and i can't make it cos of Moscow!
I haven completed my X-mas shopping yet!
And i will miss Pi and Hong.

Hiak.

Hope the time in London will be fun to take my mind off missing everything and everyone here.

Wished i could be around more

"Wished i could be around more"

Now i understood why she said that.
More than a year ago when i was reading her blog, and it was hers that "inspired" me to plunged into the airline.

It's so annoying when time with family and friends gotta be cut short becos of work-related reasons. Today's a casual example. Otherwise i'll be chilling out with Yun @ Zouk. It's Friday night!!! Urghhhhh........

I missed home much more nowadays.

Couldn't agree more when some IFS will say, "Let us just do a proper job and go home to our love ones at the end of the day."

***************

Freedom.

Was the reason i left for the airline.

Yet, i merely walked from one cage to another.

Just that the dimensions are different.

Shanghai

=(
Becos of flu again.
This time it hit me the moment i stepped into the briefing room, and for the rest of the flight and the stay in Shanghai then back to SG, it was very much of an irritant.

=)
Cos of the great time spent with dude, KS, and his family and gf. Thanks for inviting me to join your for the day.

=)
Mission Accomplished.
Or rather 90% accomplished. Still left things like ear muffs etc.
I meant the preparation for Moscow's winter.

=)
Despite of my flu, my ranking crew were all very nice peeps. They didn't pick on me at all when obviously i din perform very well.

=)
First time i met a friend on board.
Was doing boarding when a girl suddenly grabbed my arm and stare at me in disbelief.
*Stunned*
It took me a moment to recognize her b4 i burst out laughing, a little discomposed, but the way i would have with any friends. =)

It was Yun's Cheryl, knew her when we were working part-time together at HP while awaiting our A levels results.

She later told me that she was also wondering if she will see me when taking the flights. ~Viola~
It was all meant to be.

=)
Touched down into SG and while we were walking towards the clear custom channel, the IFS suddenly walked over and said softly to me,
"In case, i don't see you ard anytime soon again, Happy Birthday in advance"
^.^

************************

In Shanghai.

Totally didn't expect the weather to be soooo cold.

Taken @ the Shanghai Ke Ji Guan. Not sure if it's the Technological, Science Centre or Exhibition Hall....

On my way to meet them for shopping. 1/3 of the shops from Xiang Yang were relocated there.

Bought 2 boots the moment i reached, cos i only had my paxing high heels and it was coooooold. Not sure if they'll last. But heck it, they are cheap!

After we were done at the Ke Ji Guan, we took a train to the Ren Ming Guang Chang, their prime shopping district. More shopping again =p

A pic with Xiuli b4 i left.

My buys all in all.

The Lesportsac was unplanned. Xiuli was crazy about them and we spent hours bargaining price with the shop owners. Having so much time being idle, i started to browse ard and found some of them really cute... Totally irresistable =P

Looking forward to my next Shanghai end of this month again, for my massage that i've missed this time round. And hopefully my standby on X'mas eve won't disrupt any of my roster at all. (Yeah, i'll be sitting @ home with my bun ready-to-go, while the rest of the world is out counting down for X'mas >.<")

Please please please don't.

Pay it Forward

I can't remember how many years ago i watched that movie, but the message the movie's trying to send, it's hard to forget.

So, today i did - Pay it forward.

Laden with shopping bags, she was hesitating whether to cross the zebra-crossing, so i prompted her and we started talking. Showed her the way to Raffles Hotel, as she was pretty lost in the middle of Rochor. Kinda share what she's going through as a foreigner in a foreign land. =)

Just like Ernest, I'm simply passing on the favour he did for us in Heidelberg.

Though it was a short encounter, it feels good. Every little little thing =)

***********************
My haircut today.

Ya, i know it's not much of a big difference, except that it's shorter and a different parting. Still, i like it =)

Couldn't resist it. Shopped again @ Bugis =p

And that's the damage to my pocket. A sheer halter, supposedly dress, from Kai.
It clicks the moment i saw it, something i wanna add on to my wardrobe, what's more it's the only piece they claimed for sale. Took awhile to decide whether to part with $89 for this piece of cloth...

So now it's sitting at home queneing for its turn. Didn't want to keep missing it or returning to the shop to steal a few more looks ;p
