So this is it. We've gotten our 'wings' at last.

The day before Graduation. Decided to have dinner together last minute, the 3 of us, cos afterall we wont get much chance. 'Zhu Cha' @ Liang Seah street.

For the last few days together, after we came back from 777 SNYs, somehow i feel that all of us were being very sweet and considerate to each other. Time's running out... Like they always say people only start to treasure things when they lose/are losing whatever. Haiz...

My daily morning cab kakis. Our last ride in together.

Our poster. Professionally done by David.

863's tag line and sign. 863 soar!

Was glad that the management and Ms Woo said that they genuinely like and enjoyed our performance. Thanks to the brillant combination of director, designer and dancers we have.

After the ceremony. A celebration Lunch @ East Coast Hawker using our bets. Yeah, we have a couple of 'gambler' enthusiasts who 'open' a betting game on who's the best trainee and the best groomed.

Further celebration at MOS late that night.

All of us tried to attend as much as possible, though most of us's been worn out by the graduation preparation.
Jerrica! Thanks for giving us your virgin chionging experience. Haha.

Had Waterfall. Had Lumbogini(sry how to spell it??) too but a bit no kick, even for an amateur like me... Was told by Cheryl Zouk's alcohol is thicker....

Oppsie... We went abit wild cos high-spirited about graduating ba...

My camera phone suck in bad lightings. Hmmm....

Opps... Only with the girls ah... =P

Graduation - 2 days

Life is such.

You may be in the same vicinity or same building, but never get to meet. This is how rare fate occurs.

Had i not cut my foot, had i not gone to see the doctor, had we not been locked out of the auditorium and had i not gone to the toilet then, i would not have reunite with my dear god-sister back from secondary school days. Yeah, those were the days when you "ren" god-sisters or brothers to get by the boring school days. Heh~ Not that i causally "ren" anyone but she was my 1 and only god-sister la. Running-our common passion, was what brought us together and made us track and field kakis. It's a pity we drifted and lose contact after secondary school.

I can't explain the exuberance to have found a familiar someone, an old friend in the big crew family, where everyone is new and you always seems to be threading in dangerous water. =/

She has flown for about 2 years. Once again, she can be my big sister/"Da Jie", someone to look out for me and someone for me to look out for =)

**********************************

Oh, anyway i cut my foot due to a minor incident in class.

The trainer today, wanted to encourage class participation and initiativeness on our side, enforced a point system for 4 groups. He will observe our actions during class and award points to those who "soar". Of all trainers i've seen, he's 1 of the few trainers/people that demostrates a different kind of depth. He's very observant and knowledgeable in areas of psychology. He can read a couple of our hand-writing and be able to tell us some of our characteristic, spot on. I'm impressed. Or maybe that's a few little tricks he learn to wow others =P
Still it's not easy.

Everything else aside. Been 4 months and none, zero, 'koh song', of the trainers managed to instill this thing call "initiativeness" into me (yeah i can be quite lazy at times). Most of them uses Lip Power, as in he stand there n talk, i sit here and listen Zzzzzzz...........

But something about SK's class today, his style of teaching, vibrates with a wake up call within me. In order to do well, not just in this job, everywhere else requires loads of initiative. When asked when do we start being nice/initiative or aka. putting on that so-called 'mask'? Some said when we don the uniform, another said when we reach the airport. Somehow it feels weird, a little fake. Then came Peh Peh's answer: that we should internalised these values such as being initiative, sensitive etc. instead of wearing them as a disposal countenance.

Simple things like holding the door, greeting, volunteering to run errand, noticing someone's upset or cold can be difficult... We came from all walks of life but i doubt if any other company has to lecture us into having the courtesy to greet anything that moves (not the extreme) and to hold the door for others. In the beginning i was like "WTH??? All these have to be taught???".... 4 months have since passed by and i could feel the core within me changing, molding....

Initially, the change was painful. But now i am beginning to see why it has to be.

Shanghai SNY

TADA!

This was the only picture we took in Shanghai, me and Kelly combine. Our nice hotel toilet.
LOL.... *Faintz*

Didn't get to go to the scenic Yangtze River nor the Pearl tower places cos noone to bring us there. After a short 1 hour @ Xiang Yang mkt, we got bored and return to hotel to dump our light shopping and headed for the usual crew massage. The massage sort of zombie-lised us such that we drag our tired selves straight back to hotel and slept at 9.30pm.

The nice IFS who allowed us to take the jumpseats together twice. Almost 3 times in fact, but we missed once and he let us sit in the first class for take-off from Shanghai.

The Captain's so nice that i felt guilty of stereotyping of all them =P

We were told that these cutie marshmallow clouds are pilot's worse nightmares. Thank god Kelly heeds her CL's advice to bring along her camera to the cockpit, cos we may not get the chance again.

View from the Top. Johore.

Approaching our airport. From here i could see Bukit Timah Hill and the CBD. Kaoz... we are that small....

Singapore Airport runway.

Home sweet home.

OMG! 3 more days to Graduation. It's so scary.......
Gotten my roster til 15 Aug. Nothing much fantastic except lots of turns =(

F5 !!! (Fellow maple player will know what this is)
The only "sweetener" they rostered me for are Maldives and Amsterdam.

The guys in my batch are already getting really good destinations like Frankfurt-New York, Johannesburg, Zurich etc... Haiz... What to do? Me aint guy, thus not in demand.

Waiting patiently for my states flights. Meanwhile i'll save up for them =)

Updated my Perth SNY pics as well.

SNY: Perth

Honeymoon is sooooo over for me, or maybe us.

No more fooling around. They're less forgiving and have such high expectations of you even SNYs. On the way up to Perth, i literally sank to the floor. They weren't being unreasonable, they were just impatient. Somehow there was a slight tint of it getting a little personal. Well, i guess they forgot that they too, took sometime to perfect their service over the years, just like how we forget what it's like when we learn to walk or swim. Fresh from training school doesn't mean we will be expert @ it (by right we should be).

My personal take: papers(though important) can never beat experience.

Kelly had a better CL and mentor, lucky her. But still, we miss the peeps from our SIN-AKL sector, best flight so far. When we reached the hotel, first thing we asked each other again was, "After bond, zhao bo?" Haha.... Still thinking....

However, there's always 2 sides to a coin. Even though i ganna "scolding" all the way up and all the way down (quite depressing lei.... haiz), i'm learning cos they are also teaching me survival skills. At least i know what is expected of me when i go solo. I rather this than get screwed upside down during my solos.

After about 5+ hours of sleep, we start our exploration @ 8am in the morning. It was freaking cold such that the skin on my hands started to crack. Headed for the city area and we were pleasantly surprised that their city area came into life @ about 10am.

Victoria Court, front. I thought this building was interesting, it stood out among others.

The back.

What's more interesting was that the building leads into something like a back alley. For a moment, i felt like i've step into Diagon Alley in Harry Porter.

Left the town after awhile cos we weren't really there for shopping. Fremantle's on our plan, which is about 30 mins ride out to the bay.

The train station. Perhaps that's where the term "Sua Ku" Singaporean comes from =P cos i really never see such an open concept train station b4. They have gates there but unlike Singapore, it's not exactly for u to insert the tickets for entry or exit. The whole concept is base on trust. You can just come and go, but of course we bought tickets la.

Fremantle - a very malacca-ish town.

Round House - An ancient prison.

The instrument they use for public humiliation.

The guard vs the prisoner.

The cannon i guess.

The Indian Ocean. Wow...............

The sun's kinda hot despite the cold. I can't imagine the heat in summer man...

Cicerello's Fish & Chip, highly recommended by Vim. Claims to be the No.1 Fish & Chip, but we find it so so only. But the ambience was in deed niceeeee!

Came across this residence as we were walking around Fremantle, so european and laid back! My dream house for retirement =)

My buys, it's all food or chocolate. Corica Apple strudel !!! Only got 2 due to monetary and storage constraints Haha... 1 strudel is AU$14.50 >.<" Took abit of determination to stay within my $100 budget.

The rashes and dry skin persisted.... My next trip to aussie i'm gonna stock up on moisturizer, esp Lanolin cream. If it really don't work, shall try Ranz's option.

Shanghai tmr. Yen where are you ?!?!?!?!
