Virgin Dubai - Moscow

"You can take someone out of SIA,
But you can never take SIA out of someone ......."

Something C left lingering in me since....

********************
Drag myself out of the house on the 29th.

Counting down to 2007 according to SG time @ silver eagle. Toast with our Tea Tarik.

Back @ the hotel lobby hours later, preparing for the local time countdown. I love the ballons in the backdrop.

Receiving 2007 in the Hotel lobby, despite much persuading by C to go partying @ Zing.

A sumptous New Year lunch together with the returning set of crew from Moscow.

With the pretty babes. It's also C last flight....

Load up to Moscow was less than my fingers and toes combined, super shiok. =p
Just like a holiday for everyone.

View out of my room in Moscow.

Just when most of us going there thought the place will be snowy white and beautiful, we were so wrong. Thank god, it wasn't exactly my favourite pair of boots.

As a prove, here it is.

There isn't any white, red or blue cars, cos all the cars on the street has only 1 colour, i.e Mud colour. =D

According to the previous set of crew, their train stations is one of the place that's a must see, cos unlike others, it's very historical.

Despite it's worn look, their train's speed is at least twice faster than ours.

Murals on the ceiling.

The train stations hold much 'memories' as we spent much time there trying our luck, asking 1 passerby after the next if they can help us with the directions, if they can understand english at all.

The flea market that we took much pain to get to. All for our Russian dolls.

And the Russian dolls that i bought.

By the end of the first day, we were all tired of the tourist not-so-friendly DME. =/
Got sicked of being bumped out of the way, their way.... Zzzzz......

Sight-seeing the next day.
Red Square, Kremlin Museum.

Didn't join the freaking ex tour, plus no entrance =(

The Parliament House. Plus war memorial.

And St. Basil Cathedral !! On the top of my head! =9

There!
St. Basil Cathedral

Yeah, it's a church, not a mosque.

The walking street. The man on the right was so happy and he wanted to be in my photo, with a pose somemore.

4+pm and it's turning pretty dark....

Flight back was delok..... Haiz.... Now i understand what they say doing it once is more than enough.

Glad to be back in Dubai. Finally.
I can't believe i actually like Dubai haha...

Dubai Desert Tour

So it began, the sand dune ride.

The 2 pairs of feet that set foot in the desert for the very first time.

Surfer babe wannabe. Sand surfer i meant =p

Not a very smooth first try =9

The company's desert camp site for dinner and belly dancing.

A short 5 mins camel ride.

The camel i was on almost killed me and my colleague. If i was 1 second slower, i would have been thrown off while getting up the camel's back as it stood up rebelliously half way.......

Our buffet dinner.

The whole trip was okie. Though it was tainted by someone's hypocrisy, that provided some of us much topic to talk about and much entertainment. =9
