SNY: Perth

Honeymoon is sooooo over for me, or maybe us.

No more fooling around. They're less forgiving and have such high expectations of you even SNYs. On the way up to Perth, i literally sank to the floor. They weren't being unreasonable, they were just impatient. Somehow there was a slight tint of it getting a little personal. Well, i guess they forgot that they too, took sometime to perfect their service over the years, just like how we forget what it's like when we learn to walk or swim. Fresh from training school doesn't mean we will be expert @ it (by right we should be).

My personal take: papers(though important) can never beat experience.

Kelly had a better CL and mentor, lucky her. But still, we miss the peeps from our SIN-AKL sector, best flight so far. When we reached the hotel, first thing we asked each other again was, "After bond, zhao bo?" Haha.... Still thinking....

However, there's always 2 sides to a coin. Even though i ganna "scolding" all the way up and all the way down (quite depressing lei.... haiz), i'm learning cos they are also teaching me survival skills. At least i know what is expected of me when i go solo. I rather this than get screwed upside down during my solos.

After about 5+ hours of sleep, we start our exploration @ 8am in the morning. It was freaking cold such that the skin on my hands started to crack. Headed for the city area and we were pleasantly surprised that their city area came into life @ about 10am.

Victoria Court, front. I thought this building was interesting, it stood out among others.

The back.

What's more interesting was that the building leads into something like a back alley. For a moment, i felt like i've step into Diagon Alley in Harry Porter.

Left the town after awhile cos we weren't really there for shopping. Fremantle's on our plan, which is about 30 mins ride out to the bay.

The train station. Perhaps that's where the term "Sua Ku" Singaporean comes from =P cos i really never see such an open concept train station b4. They have gates there but unlike Singapore, it's not exactly for u to insert the tickets for entry or exit. The whole concept is base on trust. You can just come and go, but of course we bought tickets la.

Fremantle - a very malacca-ish town.

Round House - An ancient prison.

The instrument they use for public humiliation.

The guard vs the prisoner.

The cannon i guess.

The Indian Ocean. Wow...............

The sun's kinda hot despite the cold. I can't imagine the heat in summer man...

Cicerello's Fish & Chip, highly recommended by Vim. Claims to be the No.1 Fish & Chip, but we find it so so only. But the ambience was in deed niceeeee!

Came across this residence as we were walking around Fremantle, so european and laid back! My dream house for retirement =)

My buys, it's all food or chocolate. Corica Apple strudel !!! Only got 2 due to monetary and storage constraints Haha... 1 strudel is AU$14.50 >.<" Took abit of determination to stay within my $100 budget.

The rashes and dry skin persisted.... My next trip to aussie i'm gonna stock up on moisturizer, esp Lanolin cream. If it really don't work, shall try Ranz's option.

Shanghai tmr. Yen where are you ?!?!?!?!
