Hong Kong is Heavenly !!!!
Eh.... I'm checking my roster now...
So excited - cos i got Frankfurt and Melbourne (@ least got stay over, to rest)
So sian - cos i got 3 turn-a-rounds (gonna be tiring) Zzzzzzzzz
At least they give me Frankfurt as a morale booster. Phewz.....
Got back from Hong Kong yesterady noon.
Was supposed to be tired but yet i refused to rest. Came home to unload before going downstairs to have the famous Hill Street Bah Chor Mee, and unloaded my woes to him too =P After lunch, we went to Raffles Medical clinic (ya again) to consult doctor for my itchy leg skin. 1 of the occupation hazards i ganna: my skin itch a hell lot after flights and i'll scratch till they almost come off. I suspect it might be the friction between my legs and the Kebaya.... Hiak....
Besides that, my nails, my cuticles all super dry lor, peeling like mad... Moisturizer is 1 of my No-Go item now =P
Later in the evening, went to the pool to chill out with Pi. Swam only 3 lengths of the pool, spent most of the time lazing and staring into the cloudless blue sky. Guess what? I thought i saw 4 numbers formed amongst the clouds and made a mental note to buy it later. B4 i knew it, the 4 numbers i saw opened as starters, but in a different sequence. Haha.. just my luck. But i couldn't believe it still.
Hong Kong was Heavenly................ Almost... perhaps 95% =)
I wouldn't say i look forward to states or HKG flights. It's so chaotic..... Got quite a shock from my SIN-HKG flight cos being such a short flight time everything was so "Luan". It was extremely hectic with so many SPMLs. The crew hardly have time to interact, we were just trying to satisfy the incessant ad hoc demands, resulted in some miscommunications. There on board, i was already missing my AKL flights... Walked from SIN to HKG, absolutely no time to eat. When the captain announced "prepare cabin", some of them were just opening their mouth for the first bite. Haha...
Our hotel room... Got quite a "rude" shock, cos the room's damn small for a 4 star, and compared to the 1 in AKL. But then again, it's Hong Kong lor, where land is scarce.
Was starving, all of us literally chiong out for food with the crews. Din remove my makeup, just let down our hair... I was v excited cos i really wanna try HKG's food. They were saying anyhow "Hum Thump" an eatery in HKG also nice one.
Dessert's next. My mentor Lynn. She quite nice but too bad i didnt get much time to ineract with her.
For them, it's only a night stop in Hong Kong, so alot of them waste no time Chiong-ing out to shop. Some girls even skip dinner for Espirit outlet/warehouse. I was too hungry so we decided to leave Espirit to the next day. Lynn wanted to go Giodarno so we went and spent the rest of the night there accumulating our buys to HK$500 to get the 20% discount and membership. Haha...
Hong Kong's really a city that never sleeps. I'm pleasantly amazed that @ 12 + am, the streets are still quite alive. Even Giodarno closes @ 11.30pm.
The morning after. Woke up early for a long day ahead. Breakfast @ TeaHouse busy serving the working crowd. First time in their teahouse, must take photo! =P
Our Breakfast. Roasted Pork sandwich with scrambled eggs and pork Vermicelli soup. My head almost hit the ceiling, so darn nice!!!
~Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmy~
As it was too early for Espirit yet, decided to take a look @ their harbour side.
Hong Kong Island.
The sights that took my breathes away.
I seriously thought the mountains and that Skyscraper were engulfed by the fog. Not until when my brother was looking through the pics and he said that those are actually pollution ?!?!?!?! *Diaoz*
"You stand alone."
Bruce Lee.
Okie, Avenue of Stars is just a place to take Ku Ku pictures =P
Espirit Outlet, highly recommended by everyone i know who's been to HKG. I really didn't intend to spend much... But............................
Haiz... They're such cheap and good buys, you can't resist, no wonder the girls would rather go hungry for Espirit the night before. Where on earth to find Espirit Jacket for S$40, winter trenchcoat for S$63, turtle neck for less than S$20? Spent a good 2 hours trying, digging and sorting out which ones are worth our money.
Deciding between the white and black. In the end both of us took the black one.
Left Espirit roughly 150 bucks SG poorer. Kinda felt the pinch, cos 1 side of me was elated with the buys (for myself, my bro and for Pi), while the other side of me was like sian cos i spent so much.
Back to hotel to dump the purchase. B4 going out for lunch, we went to claim the complimentary drinks from the hotel @ their Window Bar. There were cocktails, alcohols, aperitifs but yet we choose to have fruit juices. For 1, it's a long day ahead we shouldn't get drunk, second, we really need some vitamin C sia....
First hand DIM SAM experience in HKG.... Hehehe...
Surprisingly it's also call "Hong Xin" restaurant aka Superstar restaurant. The chinese name is the same as the 1 i like going to in Singapore, Red Star restaurant.
So much for a "Xiao" Long Bao..... More like "Da" Long Bao to me. LOL....
Something that catches our eye b4 we left the restaurant. Let me blow it up....
okie, guess what the freak is this porcupine thing with feelers? 3 seconds.

ABALONE!!!!
Yucks... my stomach did a somersaut when realization hit me. I didn't know they were living things with feelers. I thought they come in shells? Makes me wonder what happened to those pokey thing b4 they come in cans.
Headed for Mong Kok, or rather Prince Edward in search for Fa Yuen street, highly recommended by Tiffany. Wa lao.. the place really makes us go insane. Shop and shop and shop. Walk into every other shop. The jeans there are super cheap and good, average about S$20-25 bucks a pair. Latest fashion somemore. Too bad it's no trying. They keep telling us we can come back and exchange if the size doesn't fit... sian if only i get to stay 1 more day there.
In Hong Kong, the streets in the city are all so crowded, like very happening.
Cute little car that stands out in the midst of busy Prince Edward area.
Determined to capture the night lights of Hong Kong, but this is the best i've got =(
Can't get enough of the night view of Hong Kong. We walked to Avenue of Stars again. There, it took my breathe away again.
My buys @ the end of the day.
With that, closes my shopping expedition in HKG. Think i busted my allowance for both AKL and HKG combined. Shucks.
At the end of the day, i was utterly shagged out. Partly because of all the walking, partly cos of the company. No matter where you go, it's always the company that make or break the experience.
By evening time, my tolerance level was hovering just above the zero line. Sometimes i really appreciate her for the companionship, but most of the time i was disappointed. I already have difficulty communicating with mismatchers. Throw in high D, high C and imposing views, i'll get a really BIG head.
I may be soft spoken, but don't take advantage of me.
I let you take the reins doesn't mean you can run my life.
Life can't be lead without compromising lots of things.
Learn to respect that people have differing views and yours are not necessary right.
Relationships, be it Love or friendship, the traffic should be bilateral.
The first thing Pi asked me when i arrived back in SG was, "How? Better?" Haha no one knows me better than him... Think he got a shock from my response cos he thought things will get better. Am considering what Pi said, "Why not look @ it positively? Make it a challenge to get along with her?" I really missed my family, close friends, Pi and even peeps from the batch like Wendy, Celine and Jerrica, while in Hong Kong. People whom i can talk more freely and heart to heart with.
Anyway, i am glad to be home.
Got to build higher tolerance level for my Perth and Shanghai SNYs.... =)
